Mr. Thornhill joined the firm of Lazenby & Associates, Inc. in 1992. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies/Louisiana and the Louisiana Engineering Society. He has served on various committees at both local and state levels in addition to service as a state board member for both the Louisiana Engineering Society and the American Council of Engineering Companies/Louisiana. He is a recipient of the Waldemar S. Nelson President’s Award. In 1998 he completed the Leadership Ouachita program sponsored by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Thornhill has over 25 years of experience working on a wide variety of projects. During his tenure with Lazenby & Associates, Inc., he has gained extensive experience in the following areas of concentration:
In his spare time, Mr. Thornhill enjoys hunting and fishing and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He is also a two-time national champion rimfire benchrest shooter.
